We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst, with Power BI skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and report creation using Microsoft Power BI. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, developing efficient data models, and delivering insightful visualizations that drive business decisions.

This role will be working on a hybrid basis, with time split between home and our Gloucester or Liverpool office on a weekly basis

Key Responsibilities

Develop, design, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Create and optimize data models to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.

Perform data validation and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data presented in reports.

Ensure best practices in data visualization and dashboard design are followed to enhance user experience.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and features in Power BI and other related tools.

Provide training and support to end-users to maximize their use of Power BI tools.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.

Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and SQL.

Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred Skills

Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
