Our client is looking for a Data Analyst/Engineer to join their team on a initial contract until end of March with scope for extension. This role is fully remote working, Inside IR35 and requires a candidate with an active SC clearance.

Individuals will be responsible for analytical and modelling workstreams, including:

  • Developing, maintaining, and adapting Python-based models
  • Building simulation models to evaluate case flow and initial decision-making.
  • Integrating models with DaSL (LakeFS) to link real data with simulations.
  • Developing interactive dashboards (e.g. in Plotly Dash or Power BI) for scenario comparisons and policy impact analysis.
  • Conducting regular scenario analyses and producing monthly reports.
  • Adhering to analytical quality assurance (AQA) and documentation standards.
  • Supporting knowledge transfer, including documentation, coaching, and technical handover at project close


    Key Skills and Experience
    Essential:
  • Strong Python programming, including use of Git.
  • Advanced Excel (non-VBA analytical use).
  • Experience in simulation modelling and forecasting.
  • Ability to build and manage analytical pipelines.
  • Strong data visualisation and dashboarding (Plotly Dash preferred).
  • Experience working in fast-paced, reactive environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
