Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the analysis of financial market data and reporting requirements
  • Assist in documenting business processes and data flows within financial markets
  • Help identify patterns and opportunities to improve data reporting systems
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings with industry clients
  • Contribute to the preparation of data analysis reports and recommendations
  • Support testing and implementation of data solutions
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting on project progress

Essential Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Economics or related discipline (any year of study)
  • Demonstrable interest in wholesale financial markets and data analytics
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Python
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Must be able to work in the office 3-5 days per week in London City
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of financial market reporting requirements and regulations
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of business analysis methodologies
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Interest in financial market infrastructure and technology

Duration:Flexible internship duration available based on candidate's academic commitments and availability.

Compensation:Competitive annual salary ranging from £24,000 to £25,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
