What you’ll do:

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Data Analyst to contribute to TotallyMoney’s success by delivering data-driven insights, developing impactful data products, and enhancing commercial understanding across the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, commercial acumen, a collaborative outlook and a commitment to continuous improvement.

As part of the Data team, your responsibilities will include:

• Analytics & Insight Generation:Supporting the creation and tracking of KPIs and performance metrics for the commercial team. Generating actionable insights to inform decisions on commercial strategy, product performance and market trends. Presenting findings in a clear, accessible format using a variety of data storytelling techniques. Collaborating with the commercial team to understand their priorities and goals and deliver insights to support the delivery of those goals.
• Data Product Development:Designing and delivering data products that drive business and commercial outcomes.
• Data Acquisition & Modelling:Collaborating with internal teams to identify their opportunities and problems and integrate external data sources to enhance analysis. Developing and refine data models in dbt to align with commercial priorities and business objectives.
• Data Quality & Governance:Complying with data quality frameworks to ensure reliable and accurate data. Upholding compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations while supporting robust data governance practices.

Requirements

Qualifications and skills:

Here’s what we think you’ll need to succeed in this role:

• Experience in data analytics, data modelling, and insight generation.
• Familiarity with data governance practices and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Exposure to modern data stack tools and cloud technologies is a plus.
• Previous experience in a commercial role e.g. Commercial Analyst or Manager is beneficial
• Passion for leveraging data to drive business impact.
