We are looking for a Data Analyst / BI Analyst with expertise in SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI to join our data team. This position is can be based in either of our business centres in Leicester or Castleford. About the role The role involves analysing data from our systems, extracting information from data sets and identifying correlations and patterns. On a day-to-day basis your activities will be; Design, Develop and maintain SQL views & queries to extract, transform, and analyse data from various sources. Manage and optimize data warehouses in Snowflake, ensuring high performance and scalability. Create interactive and insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI. Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and accuracy. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, reporting, and performance. Continuously improve ETL processes and ensure efficient data workflows. We are looking for someone with experience in data / statistical analysis, accounting or a planning role. Here is a quick tick list of the skills we are looking for: Microsoft SQL Server: Strong experience in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries. Snowflake: Hands-on experience managing data warehouses, optimizing storage and query performance. Power BI: Proven ability to build reports, dashboards, and visualizations to convey meaningful insights. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
