Data Analyst in Healthcare

Position: Data Analyst
Salary: £27,055 - £32,934 per annum
Location: Ards Community Hospital
Working Pattern: Full Time
Driving Required: Yes

What You'll Do:

Operational Delivery: Assist in producing accurate and timely costing information for hospital and community sectors, ensuring relevance and accessibility for non-financial managers.
Benchmarking & Productivity: analyse and present business intelligence data using various visualisation tools to enhance understanding and ownership of information across the Trust.
Innovation: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on utilising new technologies to enhance data usability and accessibility.Key Responsibilities:

Extract, analyse, and present complex data from multiple sources.
Collaborate with finance and service teams to support costing and benchmarking initiatives.
Provide insights for the Trust's Elective Care Waiting List Initiatives.
Engage with managers and senior staff to improve resource efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: 4 years of data extraction and analysis from complex databases, OR a Level 5 qualification (Diploma for Accounting Technicians) with 2 years of relevant experience, OR an honours degree in a related field.
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and effective communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
Attributes: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while identifying problems and solutions.
