Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with ChatterBug Speech and Language Therapy again, this time for a Data Technician Apprentice to join their ever-growing team. ChatterBug is dedicated to helping children develop their communication skills. They are made up of speech and language therapists who specialise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of paediatric language and communication difficulties. This is an exciting opportunity to learn how data supports real business decisions and improvements. You'll work closely with different teams to collect, organise, and analyse information, helping to turn numbers into useful insights. Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll gain hands-on experience with data tools and systems, develop your analytical skills, and play an important part in supporting projects that make a real impact. In this role, you'll work towards your Level 3 Data Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.


Responsibilities
  • Collect, input, and organise data from multiple sources, including client and patient records.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business or clinical improvements.
  • Create simple charts, tables, and visualisations to clearly present findings.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of reports to managers and quality assurance teams.
  • Work with historic patient data and business data models to inform decision-making.
  • Use tools such as OEPR (Online Electronic Patient Record system) and Google Forms to gather and analyse data.
  • Assist in formatting and collating data for health economic modelling and performance analysis.
  • Work with colleagues to understand how data can help improve services and support business decisions.

Qualifications
  • Passion for Data
  • Logical thinker
  • Understanding of Excel and Google Sheets would be beneficial
  • A Grade 4/C in Maths and English Language or equivalent is required for this role
  • You must have the right to work in the UK, and valid residency status to apply for this apprenticeship.

Benefits
  • £15,704.00 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am till 5pm
  • 7 weeks holidays including bank holidays

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in data. Afterwards, we'll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
