We’re offering a fantastic Data Analyst Apprenticeship within the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU). You will become a key part of our dynamic team, supporting data-driven initiatives that improve performance, enhance reporting, and enable evidence-based decision-making across the TRU Programme.
As an apprentice, you'll work under the guidance of experienced data professionals, gaining invaluable experience and support as you build your career in data analysis. The apprenticeship will help you develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to become Data Analyst professional.

About the role (External)
The ideal candidate:
We are looking for candidates who arecurious, analytical, and passionate about working with data. You will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify patterns and trends in complex datasets.
The ideal candidate will be comfortableworking independently,demonstrating self-motivation whilst also having the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse data analytics team. You will need good communication skills, enabling you to share insights effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will also need to showadaptability and resilience, thriving in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Basic proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel is desirable, and a willingness to learn tools such as Power BI, SQL, and web programming is essential. You should also be self-motivated, proactive in identifying challenges, and committed to finding innovative solutions independently.

Entry Requirements:You’ll need to have 2 GCSE’s at Grade C/4 or above to apply, this must include English and Math’s.
