📢 Data Analyst – Enterprise Data & Analytics | Remote

Permanent | ÂŁ55,000 + Great Benefits


We’re supporting a global leader in data & analytics in their search for a Data Analyst to help shape and elevate enterprise reporting across the organisation. This is a high-impact role working within a modern Medallion Architecture in Azure, with full ownership of the business-ready data used for critical reporting and decision-making.


You’ll design and maintain Power BI semantic models, build compelling visual reports, prepare curated datasets for AI-driven experiences, and partner closely with data engineers and business stakeholders to drive intelligent, scalable analytics.


🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and maintain the Gold layer of the Medallion Architecture, ensuring clean, trusted, high-quality data for enterprise reporting.
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and semantic models using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Develop sophisticated DAX calculations for KPIs, time intelligence, and advanced business logic.
  • Build and maintain Fabric semantic models, dataflows, and transformations.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical specifications, KPIs, and measurable insights.
  • Prepare curated datasets optimised for Fabric data agents, Copilot, and other AI capabilities.
  • Communicate insights using clear storytelling, visual design, and documentation.
  • Support the development of Copilot-driven insights through high-quality datasets and metadata.


🧠 What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in data analysis, BI, or analytics roles.
  • Experience working with Medallion Architecture, ideally owning Gold layer curation.
  • Proven expertise in Power BI, including:
  • UX/UI best practices
  • Performance tuning
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, dataflows, semantic models).


⭐ Desirable Skills

  • Python for analytical scripting and advanced stats.
  • Experience with AI-enhanced tools (Copilot, AI Foundry, Fabric AI services).
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience with forecasting, statistical modelling, or ML techniques.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (Power BI, Fabric, Data Analyst Associate).
