The Opportunity:
Hi! We're one of the Fastest-Growing Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce startups in the world, and we're currently looking for a highly motivated Data Expert (YOU?) to join our team!
We've taken this brand from $0 to currently around $1.3M/mo in 12 months. Fully bootstrapped and profitable. We're gearing up for our next growth phase and we are looking for a dedicated Data Analyst to coordinate our Data Analytics initiatives across the company.
To be successful as a Data Analyst, you should have excellent ETL and Data Modeling skills. You should also have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the warehousing and order management data analysis/data transformation processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Data Integration & ETL Processes:   

  • Integrate data from multiple sources, including ERP systems, CRM systems, e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), and marketing tools.
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows to consolidate data from various sources.
  • Effectively use API integrations to automate data exchange between systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, WMS).
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data being loaded into data warehouses or data marts.
  • Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.

Data Modeling:

  • Analyze data related to warehousing,
  • and order processing to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Design and implement data models to support business intelligence and analytics requirements
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries and documentation for data models.

Data Analytics Tool Implementation

  • Being the central stakeholder in implementation of Data Analytics tool across the organization
  • Develop and deploy dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
  • Train and support end-users in using Data Analytics tool effectively.

Data Quality and Governance

  • Implement data quality and data governance processes to ensure data integrity and compliance
  • Monitor data quality and address any issues promptly.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with all stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure alignment on data strategies and initiatives.

Your Experience:

  • Technical mindset and (at least) a Bachelor's degree in Technical Science: Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or other related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as analyst/data science preferably in b2b/b2c marketplaces
  • Extensive hands-on experience with warehousing and order processing data analysis and modeling.
  • Proficient in ETL tools and processes (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SQL and Python for processing and analysis (must)
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems, data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
  • Solid experience in data exchange automation between systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, WMS) via API integrations.
  • Proven experience in developing dashboards to solve real business problems.
  • Experience working on data analytics projects that involve multiple stakeholders and complex data sets.
  • Product and business sense. Understanding the principles of e-commerce business and user behavior analysis.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Critical thinking ability to grasp complex, ambiguous, abstract requirements and break them down into smaller components, schemes, types and characteristics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and be a self-starter. Ability to work effectively in a team, both in a leadership and support role.
  • Willingness to work in a startup environment with constantly evolving goals.
