Job Title: Data Analyst / Data Migration Analyst

Total Experience Required: 5+ years in Information Technology/Computers/Software for Data Analyst / Data Migration Analyst positions

Relevant Experience Required: 3 to 5+years of experience in data management and data analysis, especially within large, multinational organizations.

Work Location: Manchester, UK

  2. Willing to relocate to Manchester, UK from anywhere within Europe or UK


Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months, extendable up to 18 months based on project needs

We are seeking a skilledData Analyst / Data Migration Analystto join a major transformation programme. In this pivotal role, you will support the execution of a robust data migration strategy, working cross-functionally to improve data accessibility, quality, and governance.


You’ll be instrumental in analyzing and mapping data, coordinating ETL processes, supporting data validation, and enhancing data quality across the programme. This role requires collaboration with technical and business teams, and involvement in testing, training, and process re-engineering initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze source data and define mappings to target systems
  • Produce technical specifications for ETL processes and data validation
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and governance teams
  • Support creation of a unified data model and harmonization strategy
  • Improve data quality through audits, rules development, and remediation
  • Liaise with testing/training teams to ensure fit-for-purpose data availability
  • Translate business needs into technical data requirements
