Company Description

About Us:

Future Alternative is a leading Renewable Energy Valuation & Analysis advisory firm dedicated to empowering companies with a comprehensive understanding of their business's value drivers.

The company was founded by Clare MacGregor, who brings a wealth of experience and significant expertise in Renewable Energy valuation and analysis, from Numeritas, Vattenfall, Low Carbon and TCI Renewables. Clare started Future Alternative in order to meet the increasing demands for specialist skills in this area, and to allow her to work flexibly without compromising her family life.

Our team excel in creating advanced models and processes, whilst offering invaluable support in pricing, and negotiating power purchase agreements (PPAs), hydrogen supply and purchase agreements (HSPAs), and other strategic commercial ventures. We pride ourselves on our high levels of expertise and our client-centred approach.

Our Culture

Everybody here cares about climate change, and we are passionate about increasing the take up of renewable energy.
There’s no such thing as 9 to 5! When we have work to do, that is the priority and we are 100% focused on delivering. When it’s quiet, there’s no need to be “at your desk”. It all evens out in the end. We tend to keep all meetings between 9am and 2pm, whether internally or with clients, allowing for flexible working, school pick-ups, or focused afternoons without interruptions.
We celebrate complexity! We analyse it in our jobs, and we recognise it in our lives. We believe diversity and inclusivity enables us to be more creative, more flexible, to think broader and to reach further. We want everybody to be comfortable in being themselves at work.
