A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join a growing, forward-thinking business based in Pocklington. Due to the location, access to your own transport is essential. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for capturing, analysing, and reporting data to drive supply chain efficiency, biological asset management, and commercial decision-making.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with hybrid working available following completion of the probation period. Salary ranges from £35,000 to £42,000, depending on experience.. 
More than just technical skills, this role is about making data meaningful – communicating insights clearly and effectively to people across all levels of the business, from hands-on operational teams to senior leadership. Cultural fit is key – we’re looking for someone who’s collaborative, approachable, and confident presenting complex data in a simple, actionable way.

The Role: Reporting into the Head of Optimisation, you’ll generate data-driven insights that influence strategic decisions and improve business performance. You’ll be working on innovative projects in a sector where data is transforming the way things are done – helping to shape the future of food production.

What You’ll Do

Ensure accurate and timely data capture across the supply chain. Develop and maintain automated data pipelines and reporting tools. Integrate data from multiple systems ( HubSpot, CTS, ScotEID, Xero). Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or gaps. Build real-time dashboards and performance reports using tools like Power BI. Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations across departments. Provide predictive analytics to support supply chain and commercial planning. Track sustainability metrics, including GHG emissions. Champion data accuracy and best practices across the business.

What You’ll Bring: Essential:
Strong analytical skills and experience in reporting, data analysis, and forecasting.Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI (or similar tools).Experience automating data collection and reporting.Confidence presenting data and communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to manage multiple data sources and spot opportunities for improvement.Desirable:
