The Vacancy

What is the role 

This is an exciting role in an expanding data and analytics team. Data is at the heart of everything we do at Yours Clothing and with the acquisition of multiple brands and our expansion into the specialist clothing industry, data is in more demand now than ever. We are looking for an individual with an enquiring mind who has a strong passion for data and technology, a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining reports and external integrations, ensuring data security and cleanliness within our firm. Your role will also entail troubleshooting issues in SQL, Snowflake and Rivery(our database management software)and providing quick resolution.

What you will do

Creation and upkeep of regular reports to monitor sales performance & marketing activity across the different marketing channels Using visualisation software (Tableau) to produce dashboards that enhance understanding of marketing activity across the business Troubleshooting data discrepancies and supporting the Data and Insights Manager to implement solutions Regular and Ad-hoc projects requiring creative approaches to answering data-based queries Setting up and maintaining external data sources between Snowflake and various other platforms

What you will bring 

2-3 years of experience in data analytics or in a similar role Experience using Excel to manipulate and present data Understanding of ecommerce and what data would be important to a retail business Strong problem-solving ability and analytical mindset – keen to learn how to gather the right data from appropriate sources, probe all the facts and consider other perspectives Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Good time management skills to deliver in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of any of the following: GA, Tableau or Power BI would be desirable but not essential Intermediate level experience in SQL query writing Minimum of beginner level Python query writing Understanding of cloud-based data warehouse tool Snowflake and data pipeline tool Rivery would be desirable but not essential Highly motivated and a desire to be the best Eager to learn and develop Proven ability to work well within a team and to use own initiative Self-starter with the ability to find answers themselves An energy and enthusiasm to succeed Ability to adapt to frequent change and a fast-paced environment Outstanding loyalty and commitment to the business
