Mobile App Data Analyst

The Role:


As a Digital analyst for mobile app, you will play a key role to develop their analytics capabilities in this new area of the digital business. You would join a growing team that will develop and launch the app!

You will be guiding Digital and DigiTech teams to implement the measurement framework of their new mobile app, and understand future customer pain-points to identify the biggest opportunities. This analyst will transform digital data into meaningful reports and deep dive investigations.


Reporting to the Digital Analytics Manager, with experience working on mobile app tagging and measurement, in order to deliver insights on performances. This person will be expected to communicate at all levels, as well as having strong analytical skills.


Your Responsibilities:


We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:


  • Set-up the tracking and the measurement to report key activities of their new mobile app evaluate their success and identify how they are contributing to growth of the app (traffic, engagement, conversion…).
  • Collaborate with their product owners to identify major business opportunities and challenges, by analysing online user behaviours, customer journeys, and sales data.
  • Creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards using app analytics data and data visualisation tools, with the ambition to automate all reporting across the business, whilst monitoring the core KPIs vs. targets.
  • Ensure their teams are always receiving the most relevant data and insights to inform stakeholders and support the business decision-making.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and provide updates on best cases and market trends.
  • Liaise with appointed external agencies who are supporting digital analytics


Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years’ practical experience in a similar role with knowledge of mobile app measurement and tagging, insights reporting, preferably in retail (ecommerce an advantage)
  • Excellent communication skills [written and oral] with strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to build credible relationships with a range of internal stakeholders, including for technical conversations
  • A great communicator, who can contribute effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise workflow.
  • Self-motivated, problem solver and results oriented.
  • Great knowledge of mobile & web analytics tools (Firebase, Google Analytics 4, GCP, ContentSquare…) and data visualisation platforms (SQL, Looker Studio, Tableau, Alteryx…)
