Role: Data Analyst

Employment Period: 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Nottinghamshire

Working Arrangement: 2 days/week in the office, negotiable

Salary: Up to £40k

You will have experience working with master data and large data sets, as this is crucial for the role. They are currently having new systems integrated into the business, and you will be responsible for these projects, so if you have experience in managing projects, that is a bonus.

A shrinking wallflower is not required for this business as you will be collaborating with all areas across the business, ranging from all areas up to C C-suite. You will be able to explain the situation and where the project is, and any issues that may arise.

Data cleansing is a must as you will be looking at the data that is currently in the system and making sure that it is accurate and provides all the information that is required to be integrated into the new system. You will ensure that the data is held securely before it is moved into the new system.

What am I looking for:

  • Ability to map data across existing and emerging systems

  • Ability to document master data entities

  • Able to process map, assess and identify inconsistencies

  • Understand data governance principles

  • Track record of developing a data readiness plan

  • Knowledge of data management principles and practices
