The Role

We are seeking a highly technical and analytical Data Analyst to produce reports, statistics, market intelligence and forecasts using mathematical modelling and analysis. You will come from an analytical background with a mathematics, natural sciences or computer science degree and have proven experience analysing data in a technology business.


What you'll be doing

  • Interpreting data, analysing results, producing executive reports and briefings
  • Collating operational and real time data to produce custom reports
  • Actively suggesting improvements to data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining data systems
  • Identifying, analysing and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Reviewing, filtering and cleaning data and utilising performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Working with management to prioritise business and information needs
  • Locating, defining and improving any data collation and analysis processes
  • Ability to present data in a concise and user-friendly manner
  • Liaising with developers to improve the quality of the reporting tools and enhancements
  • Producing specific reports tailored for customers and suppliers
  • Producing daily performance reports in a timely manner
  • Diagnosing problems


What experience you'll have

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences or Mathematics
  • Masters in Data Analytics or similar
  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a business or data analyst in technology or SaaS business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, diplomatic with the ability to interface with customers
  • Analytical, knowledgeable and passionate about data analysis
  • Knowledge of XML and Java


We offer hybrid working which requires 3 days per week minimum to be based in our Central London office.
