About the OpportunityWe’re a UK-based deep tech start-up seeking a SC Cleared Generative AI Engineer (Contractor) to join our enthusiastic and rapidly growing team. You’ll have delivered several contracts as a Contractor ( SC Cleared)

Generative AI engineer with at least 5+ years industry experience working on a wide range of challenges in a fast-moving environment. The position will involve applying your skills to our two exciting, commercially focussed, core AI developments.The role will involve developing, combining and scaling natural language model systems, data enhancement, collaboration with the wider AI team, and keeping ahead of the latest trends in Generative AI and ML. The ideal candidate will have a number of years’ experience with LLMs, utilising them as part of a natural language model system (ideally both in and before production). Alongside this the candidate will have good understanding of current literature around LLMs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop novel, accurate AI algorithms for Oxford Dynamic’s core AI productsWork with the team to deploy novel AI products into offline environments

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

SC or DV ClearanceStrong experience deploying LLM’s for searching pipelinesUp to date with current LLM and NLP researchExperience designing, developing and deploying production machine learning pipelinesStrong background in NLP techniquesBS, MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related quantitative fieldStrong presentation skillsPython for machine learning developmentFull-stack development, enhancement, and maintenanceGIT workflow & controlDocker for system deploymentAWS/Cloud experience

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

A portfolio of previous work (industry, Bachelors, semester, Masters, doctoral thesis, ...) in AI/robotics (Github repository) or published papers in relevant AI/robotics journals/conferencesExperience with Git-workflow within a production teamExperience with Agile product developmentExperience of working in a start-upBest practices in data engineeringFamiliarity with MLOpsExperience with building Restful servicesExperience presenting in front of project stakeholdersKeen business development interest
