Data Management, Digital Engineering – Construction & Built Environment
We’re seeking experienced Senior Data Analysts / Data Engineers with a background in the construction and built environment to join a forward-thinking Digital Engineering consultancy at the forefront of innovation.
Part of a national multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy, this role offers the opportunity to work on landmark, long-term programmes, driving the integration of data, BIM and digital technologies to transform how major projects are designed, delivered and operated.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build and optimise robust data pipelines, apply advanced analytics, and leverage cutting-edge digital tools to enhance project performance and inform strategic decision-making.
Flagship Programme of Works
You’ll play a key role on a £1.3bn+ 10-year programme centred around the Ellison Institute of Technology at Oxford Science Park, with complementary projects in London.
Key projects include: 300,000 sq ft of state-of-the-art research laboratories, Oncology and care clinics, Education and collaboration spaces, A new modern campus and London HQ.
Beyond this programme, the company partners with high-profile clients across defence, manufacturing, healthcare, residential, cultural, education, and motorsport (Formula 1), delivering projects ranging from £5M to over £500M.

Digital Engineering, Data & BIM Capabilities
Their specialist award winning Digital Engineering team provides innovative services across the construction sector to clients, consultants and contractors, including :
BIM Coordination & Information Management, 4D Simulations and Model Firestopping Reviews, Digital Twin & Building Safety programmes, Digital FM Solutions, BIM Automation, Programming, and Data Integration, Data Analytics & Data Management.
You’ll join a collaborative, ambitious team that pushes the boundaries of BIM and data, contributing to pioneering pilot projects and shaping digital strategy across the consultancy.
Working Arrangements
Agile working model – 3 days across office, client or project site
Regular site presence required at the Oxford project (1 day a week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and optimise data pipelines to support digital workflows across major engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define data requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
  • Clean, transform and analyse complex datasets to uncover trends and performance insights.
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable intelligence to stakeholders.
  • Integrate BIM, GIS, IoT and other digital technologies to support data-driven delivery.
  • Uphold high standards of data quality, governance and security.
  • Contribute to automation tools and scripting to streamline processes.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging data technologies to enhance team capability.
    Skills & Experience
    We’re looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Data Engineer with construction, engineering or infrastructure sector experience — open to a range of projects within the built environment including buildings, civils, property etc
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI (or similar platforms — not all required)
  • Experience with cloud data environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and version control (e.g. Git)
  • Strong understanding of data governance, quality assurance and security
  • Familiarity with BIM, GIS, IoT or other digital engineering technologies
  • Proven ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Proactive problem solver with an eye for process optimisation and automation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Likely educated to degree level or above in engineering, construction, BIM or a related subject
    Alongside Senior Data Analyst also looking or Data Analysts in the same locations & working on the same opportunity paying £35 - 50,000 + pkg
