As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will enable customers to achieve their outcomes, based on their investments in Microsoft technology. Leveraging your Microsoft Azure technical subject matter expertise, you will lead technical conversations with customers and Microsoft colleagues, to drive value from their MS investments. This includes accelerating customer adoption by building solutions and identifying resolutions to issues impeding customer success projects. You will also drive product influence with Engineering and increase technical intensity in the field. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualfiications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND experience working with large Enterprise customers and field communities in consulting or similar roles, leading deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation of Data or Analytics based solutions OR experience in building products and services as part of Engineering teams in engineering positions.

Technical:
Breadth of technical experience and knowledgein foundational security, foundational AI, architecture design
, with depth / Subject Matter Expertisein one or more of the following: Enterprise-scale technical experience and depth with one or more areas of the Azure data platform: Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Database for MySQL, or equivalent (required)Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Azure or equivalent), and experience creating Data & Analytics Proof of Concepts (PoC), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for customers that lead to production deployments and optimization of those deploymentsMigrations across SQL Server, OSS, NoSQL database technologies, modernization from on-prem to the cloud, experience working with structured and unstructured data in Big Data scenarios using technologies such as Fabric Data Warehouse, Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift and data lake conceptsDatabase architecture, application development skills, scripting, deployment automation, performance tuning and optimization, high availability / disaster recovery and debugging database related issuesCompetitive Landscape: Knowledge of key Data & Analytics platforms such as AWS, GCP, Snowflake, etc.

Create modernized Data & Analytics platform solutions with infused AI, lead POCs and MVPs, and ensure long-term technical viability.
Technical Leadership:
Advocate for Customers: Share insights and best practices, collaborate with the Engineering team to address key blockers, and drive product improvements. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on market trends, collaborate with the Data, Analytics and AI technical community, and educate customers about the Azure platform.
