Are you looking for that career defining role where you will have all of a companies Data at your disposal and be reporting directly to the CEO? This Chief Data Scientist position is such a role.

An innovative Financial services company are looking for a Chief Data Scientist, who has the ability to collate all the Data within the business and produce Insight & recommendations to the CEO & the board on the direction the business should take & improvements to their offerings.

You will initially lead a small team to build machine learning capability to apply to the companies rich set of customer data to help improve credit risk processes.

Hiring will be important and as your team expands you will be tasked with structuring the team in such a way that Data Science can be applied to all areas of the business – Marketing, Operations, Customer service.

The Chief Data Scientist will also be tasked with using Data to enrich the Customer experience.

Chief Data Scientist Experience Required:

– Strong Statistics/Maths/Econometrics Background

– RDBMS / SQL experience

– Strong Msc or PhD Background

Any experience in the following is Nice to have:

– SAS, SPSS, R
