Business Value Consultant (Technology), Contract, 6 months, Outside IR35, £600-750 per day, Hybrid/Remote – London Based Head office
Contract role to join a large technology consultancy in the Business Value and Pre-Sales team, to identify, quantify, and accelerate the realisation of business value outcomes from using technology solutions.

Start date is Early September, so if you are on 4 weeks’ notice – we have time, if you are looking to switch to an outside iR35 contract role. Initially 6 months with extensions thereafter.
Formal Role:
In this role, you will own the Value Acceleration function across a geographic region, supporting the European Sales and Customer Success teams. You will directly engage with sales teams, prospects, and customers to build CFO-ready business cases and document the business value realised through the company’s global solutions. Collaboration with various teams will be key as you define and execute strategies for customer acquisition, growth, and retention. Moreover, you will work with Marketing to evangelise the business value of the technology through presentations, blogs, webinars, and whitepapers. Your role will also involve driving innovation in developing and adopting Value Acceleration tools and resources, and regularly providing field experience to key stakeholders in product management, marketing, engineering, and senior leadership.
Experience required:
You will need strong experience in enterprise software sales or presales, or experience working in IT or technology consultancy. Specific experience in value consulting or value engineering is a plus. You will need a basic understanding of how big data, analytics, ML, and AI support businesses and drive growth. A consultative approach is essential, with outstanding communication and presentation skills, and the ability to tell compelling stories through numbers. As a thought leader and evangelist, you should be comfortable speaking in front of an audience. Being results and data-driven, with excellent business case creation and analysis skills, is crucial.
