Job Description

This newly created role, will see you be a key player in our Presales and solutioning team, providing technical expertise and guidance in the pre-sales process for our data solutions, applications, and AI offerings.

You will work closely with potential clients to understand their technical requirements and challenges, proposing tailored solutions that align with their business goals and our technological capabilities. This role demands a combination of technical prowess, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Solution Advocacy: Articulate the value and technical advantages of our solutions in data management, generative AI, and application development to prospective clients, tailoring presentations and demonstrations to meet their business needs.
  • Technical Consultation: Serve as the technical expert during sales engagements, answering technical queries, and overcoming objections with a focus on our solutions’ benefits and differentiators.
  • Customer Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients to identify and understand their technical requirements and business objectives, translating these into viable technical solutions.
  • Solution Design: Work alongside the technical team to design bespoke solutions that meet customer needs, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with our product capabilities.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and present technical proposals, reports, and documentation to stakeholders, clearly outlining the solution architecture, implementation plan, and business value.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the liaison between sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are aligned with our technical capabilities and delivery timelines.
  • Market Insights: Provide feedback to product and marketing teams on market trends, competitive insights, and customer feedback to influence product development and positioning.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting, specifically within the fields of data solutions, AI, or software applications.
  • Deep technical understanding of data architectures, generative AI technologies, DevOps practices, and software development methodologies.
  • Proven track record of designing and presenting complex technical solutions to a diverse audience, including C-level executives.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to link technical solutions with business objectives to drive value.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Certifications relevant to Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, or similar technologies are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet business needs.
