WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY

Reporting into the Quality Manager the successfully appointed candidate will have the opportunity to build a deep knowledge of business imperatives and operational products, as well as the opportunity to fully participate in the business supporting both internal and field data analysis. The Business Quality Data Analyst function is a site-based role at Lisburn who work closely with all areas of the business including Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations. The successful candidate duties will include responsibility for conducting analysis on internal and external generated data across a number of systems to identify trends & patterns. Liaising with cross-functional teams across various sites and departments, this role will be pivotable in providing data and information in a timely and accurate fashion. The coordination of part return linked with field operations will also be a key aspect of the role in determining key actions alongside the relevant departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborating with departmental personnel to identify required data to assist in the resolution of quality issues in the field.Develop dashboards to collect data-backed insightsCoordinating the return of parts from the field requested for further analysis/investigation.Interpret key business data setsDeliver insights on potential areas of improvementsSupport business intelligence strategies with quantitative analysisWork cross functionally on data-driven strategies that improve business processes and decision-makingDocumenting inspection and testing processes, including any modifications or repairs made, for future reference and quality control purposes.Supporting the creation and maintenance of key Quality Engineering documentation such as Inspection Checklists, PFMEA's, Control Plans and Incoming Inspection Plans.Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.Assisting in the development and implementation of new assembly, inspection and testing procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.Evaluating quality control processes and making recommendations for improvementsConducting statistical analysis and retaining test result data for departmental KPIs

In summary, the Business Quality Data Analyst will play a crucial role in analysis and presenting data leading to the continuous improvement of Camlin products. They will work closely with all departments to ensure the quality and accuracy of data and ensuring key systems and processes are followed.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Proven experience in data analysis within a service and/or manufacturing environmentProven experience in data models, database design, and statistical analysisProficient in reporting packages and data visualisation toolsCollaborative, flexible, and able to work independently with attention to detailExperience working within a manufacturing or quality environmentSupplier or customer facing experienceExperience of LEAN Manufacturing tools
