Job Title: Business Development Manager - Cloud & Digital Transformation

General Overview:

As the New Business Development Manager for Cloud & Digital Transformation Solutions, you will embody this balance, offering personalised attention while leveraging our Clients capabilities to drive significant change.


You will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their digital transformation journey, backed by Our Clients robust solutions and technical expertise. You'll be the face of the company, fostering long-lasting relationships while positioning their enterprise-grade cloud and digital services to help businesses innovate faster and operate more efficiently.


Key Solution Focus Areas:

  1. Public Cloud Transformation– Guide clients in building cloud strategies that align with their business goals.
  2. Digital Workplace Modernisation– Demonstrate how they create agile, collaborative, and secure digital environments tailored to individual client needs.
  3. Developer Velocity– Empower client development teams through tailored DevOps, Cloud Native Application Platforms, and more.
  4. Data-Driven Intelligence– Help organisations harness the power of their data using analytics, AI, and machine learning.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement:Build, nurture, and secure new business opportunities across their four key solution areas. Establish trust-based relationships with IT managers, directors, and C-suite executives.
  • Tailored Proposals:Develop bespoke solution proposals that address clients' unique challenges and objectives, showcasing both technical expertise and our commitment to personalised service.
  • End-to-End Sales Cycle:Manage the complete sales process from initial engagement to successful deal closure, including evaluating contract spend and optimising technology usage.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with technical teams, including service architects and consultants, to ensure solutions are aligned with client needs and their capabilities.
  • Market Intelligence:Contribute to shaping service offerings and go-to-market strategies by gathering and sharing market insights and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Business Planning:Develop and maintain quarterly, bi-annual, and annual business plans that reflect our Cleints commitment to personalised service and complex project handling.
  • Marketing & Thought Leadership:Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and maintain a strong presence in relevant industry communities.


Person Specification:


Essential:

  • Proven experience in selling cloud and digital transformation solutions to a range of clients.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong personal relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Excellent understanding of tailoring complex technical solutions to individual client needs.
  • Success in managing full sales cycles for both smaller, agile projects and large-scale transformations.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to articulate complex value propositions.
  • Experience working collaboratively with technical teams to develop bespoke solutions.
  • Knowledge of multiple cloud platforms and digital transformation technologies.


Desirable:

  • Experience working in or selling for organisations that balance personalised service with large-scale delivery.
  • Familiarity with agile and traditional project delivery methodologies.
