A sales role that’s not all about the money? That’s weird.

At Ketchup we’ve had 30% growth nearly every year for the last 15 years, but not simply to fill up the bank account. We believe revenue is the fuel that keeps this speedboat moving at pace; it’s crucial, but it’s not the reason we’re here. This changes the focus of any sales role at Ketchup and makes you part of something much bigger. Wins are celebrated because they move the company forward, rather than just adding another few pennies into the piggy bank. If you’re ready for a sales role with a genuine purpose, then this could be for you. In the words of Tony Hsieh, “Chase the vision, not the money; the money will end up following you.”

About you:

  • You’ll have a proven track record in booking meetings and still get that little spark of excitement when you can sense a prospect about to bite
  • Chaos isn’t a problem for you and you enjoy using problems as a springboard for making things better
  • Your mindset is wider than the next paycheck; this is about growing a company
  • You’ve probably used lots of different ways to book a meeting in the past and enjoy trying new things to see if they work
  • You know how to switch up your approach, depending on who you’re speaking with

About the role:

  • You’re making the fuel that drives the whole company forward; you’ll be booking meetings for the team to attend
  • A benefit of working for a marketing company is that there’s no shortage of marketing support, from data lists, to email campaigns and a few inbound enquiries, you’ll be fully supported
  • As with any growing company, new ideas are welcomed and quick to implement, so thinking caps at the ready
  • Emails are helpful and LinkedIn videos have a great response, but nothing beats picking up the phone and speaking with prospects directly
  • We’re all crew members and sometimes have to pitch in, with anything from helping refill the fridge to getting slides together for a big pitch - all hands on deck!
