Our client, a leading company in the financial services industry, is seeking a skilled Business Data Analyst to join their dynamic team in the BI & Data Services department. As a Business Data Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding business requirements and leveraging data to achieve desired outcomes. You will collaborate with data engineers and BI developers to ensure high-quality solutions are built.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the business landscape and prioritise requirements
• Gather and elaborate on business requirements
• Analyse and interpret data
• Work with development teams to translate requirements into design
• Present data through reporting and visualisation tools
• Coordinate testing and obtain end-user sign-off
• Maintain data/report documentation
• Evaluate outcomes and identify training needs

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of business operations
• Excellent business analytical skills
• Experience with BI tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and external partners
