The MBE Programme presents a huge opportunity for colleagues across the technology function to play a central role in the design, shape, delivery and execution of an enterprise-wide digital transformation programme. The complexity of the initiative, within a FTSE 250 business, will allow for large-scale problem solving, group wide impact assessment and supporting the delivery of an enablement project to future proof the business. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues across the business and bring a best practice approach to the function. Designing and shaping the solution and methodologies utilising your experience and expertise gives a platform for success and team ship building as Greencore, build, mature, strengthen and bolster their Technology department.

What you'll be doing as a BI Developer at Greencore?

Designing and developing data flows and integrations between systems and databases for the group, as well as contributing to other areas of our business landscape
In addition to reporting, the team is responsible for several areas of data engineering and database development, including integrations development with our ERP systems, providing end-to-end solutions with web apps, and general database administration
Designing and developing database integrations between systems and contributing to the building of Data Warehouses for reporting purposes (eg developing ETL pipelines)
Responsible for database development in collaboration with the development team, collaborating with BAs and internal stakeholders to manage demand and a backlog of data requirements
Leveraging best-practices to contribute to our wider goal of consolidating data sources and improving maintainability of our reporting landscape
Working with the business you will identify reporting gaps to improve efficiencies
Support our existing data and reporting solutions
What we're looking for?

Good understanding and experience of relational databases (SQL Server/T-SQL), schemas and relationships across multiple data sources
Experience of developing ETL solutions and have a good understanding of OLTP best-practices
Proven knowledge and experience of data modelling and database design
Experience of ERP systems, especially (PowerApps) and cloud-based solutions, especially MS Azure. Any experience of MS Synapse or data lake experience would be highly beneficial to your application
Familiar with Power App development and Integration development, for example working with queues or APIs
