About the role and team:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated eCommerce Power BI Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing eCommerce data, building insightful dashboards, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. As an expert in Power BI and data analytics, you will support the marketing, product, and sales teams by transforming data into visually compelling reports and performance metrics that enhance our eCommerce strategies.

This role will be working Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week (3 days per week office based B37 7HG)

The role will involve:

Analysing eCommerce performance metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion rates, sales, customer behaviour) using Power BI and other BI tools

Creating, maintaining, and updating interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders

Developing automated reporting processes to streamline data analysis for the marketing, product, and sales teams

Monitoring and analyse eCommerce KPIs, trends, and forecasts to identify growth opportunities

Providing insights into customer behaviour, product performance, and campaign effectiveness, helping to shape marketing and product strategies

Collaborating with IT, data engineering, and marketing teams to ensure proper integration of eCommerce data from various sources (e.g. Google Analytics, Google ads, Microsoft ads, Google Big query)

Maintaining data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits and implementing data governance best practices

Working cross-functionally with marketing, product management, operations, and sales teams to provide insights that enhance decision-making

Supporting ad-hoc requests for data analysis and reporting from various stakeholders

To be successful for this role you will have:

Experience in data analysis, preferably in an eCommerce or digital marketing environment

Proven expertise in using Power BI for data visualization and reporting

Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX queries, Power Query, and report creation

Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Google ads, Microsoft ads, Google Big query

Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, charts, and complex formulas

Experience with SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets

Knowledge of data integration tools (e.g., Power Automate, ETL processes)
