Job Title:Azure Data Analyst
Location:Windsor, UK (1 day a week)
Job Purpose and Primary Objectives:Azure Data Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret large, complex data sets and produce meaningful insights
  • Gathering data from various sources within the Azure ecosystem, ensuring data quality, and transforming it for analysis
  • Designing and building data models to support analysis and reporting needs
  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability throughout its lifecycle
  • Working with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights
  • Identifying and addressing issues related to data quality, accessibility, and analysis
Key Skills / Knowledge:
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and draw conclusions
  • Understanding on Energy Utility domain, Smart Meter process knowledge
  • Proficiency in statistical methods and techniques for data analysis
  • Experience in designing and building data models
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
  • Knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data in Azure databases
  • Understanding of Azure services like Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake Storage
  • Strong ability to identify and resolve data-related issues
Experience Required:
  • 15+ years of total IT experience and must have experience in Energy Utilities domain in Smart Metering projects
  • 10+ years Data Analyst experience in MS Azure platform
