What you'll do

As an Associate Analyst within the Sainsbury's Digital Operations Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in analysing and interpreting data to drive efficiencies within our groceries online operations and enhance our online customer proposition. By leveraging your analytical skills and developing a deep understanding of our online operations processes and systems, you will generate actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality, data-driven storytelling will be essential in contributing to the success of our data-driven initiatives and creating impactful change within the business.

Who you are

As an Associate Analyst in the Digital Operations team at Sainsbury's, you are a highly numerate professional with a strong analytical background and a passion for deriving actionable insights from complex data sets. Your proficiency in SQL, coupled with your brilliant communication skills and inquisitive mindset, enables you to translate data into compelling stories and deliver valuable recommendations to drive business efficiencies and enhance the online customer experience. With your keen attention to detail, proactive approach to career development, and collaborative spirit, you thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment where you continuously seek opportunities for growth and contribute to the success of the analytics community.

Essential Criteria

Demonstrable experience or education in a numerate disciplinesuch as mathematics, statistics, or a related analytical field. Proven ability to write and use SQLfor data extraction and analysis. Evidence of delivering actionable insightsthat have led to measurable business change through analytics. Ability to communicate complex data clearly, with examples of translating analytical findings into simple, compelling narratives. Track record of logical problem-solving and attention to detail, supported by examples from academic, professional, or project work.
