We're currently recruiting a dedicated AssistantFinance Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operationsin a major High Street brand on a full time basis, contracted to 40hours per week. As a Assistant Finance Manager, you will need toorganize and provide administration and correct retention / fillingof all required documentation, process and procedures Processingand verification of weekly payroll, UDT trackers and weeklybookwork for all units. Support the unit managers with generaladministration tasks. Support monthly financial reconciliation,ensuring accuracy of accounts is delivered. Here's what you need to knowbefore applying: Your key responsibilities will include: - Processall weekly information into the nexus system, ensuring accuracychecks are made and sense checks for any missing items arecompleted, ensuring paperwork and administration is compliant andcorrectly maintained - Finalise weekly bookwork ensuring all booksare correctly closed and e files are correctly sent - Compile UDTtrackers for each week, ensuring unit managers and senior team aresent regular updates. - Submit UDT trackers to Contracts Directorensuring the agreed deadline is met. - Support the administrationof the Foodbuy and The Source systems, being able to input data forthe contract. - Process the weekly payroll checking all entries areaccurate and correct, ensuring deadlines are met and e files sentthrough Ourtime. - Support with investigation and resolution of adhoc payroll queries. - Support with analysis of the OurTime systemto provide information requests as required. - Support with allprofit protection processes required and the completion of profitprotection audits. - Ability to coordinate ad hoc purchase requestssuch as uniform and equipment requests, stationery supplies. - Actas a Compass advocate, maintaining a positive professional mannerat all times. - Ability to access, utilise and analyse the Symphonytill system to provide data and reports as required. - Proactivelycontribute to improvement ideas and plans to help with financialbusiness improvements. - Monitor ordering and highlight anyunauthorised purchasing or use of any non-nominated suppliers tounit managers. - Ability to process and manage PO purchase ordersand client invoicing. - Ability to complete month end financialreview and approval process through the SAP system. - Develop andmaintain good working relationships with clients & customers. -Take personal ownership to act as an advocate for health andsafety, with excellent personal behaviours. Our ideal AssistantFinance Manager will: - Has a proven track record to deliverconsistent excellent administration standards. - Ability to adaptand respond to changing priorities with a hands-on approach. - Hasa good understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines. - Ispositive, passionate, enthusiastic and is able to support thedelivery of a change at pace. - Proven ability to support theimplementation of ideas and changes with a positive approach. - Hasthe proven ability to organise and manage effectively their owntime. - Acts in line with guidelines and procedures, with excellentlevels of compliance. - Has the ability to deliver above and beyondthe expectations of our customers and clients. - Good knowledge ofthe food and retail industry. - Ability to manage administrationwith good numerical, written, verbal communication andinterpersonal skills. - Has the ability to build strongrelationships with customers and clients - Has a proactive andpractical approach and is able to promote best practice in anoperational environment. - Prior experience as an assistant financemanager in high volume outlets of min 2+ years. - Has a goodunderstanding of financial systems and managing/using Microsoftsystems with an intermediate understanding of Excel.
