Job Details

  • As an Analytical Engineer you will be responsible for building and delivering Data Products from requirements through to PowerBI reports/Dashboards.
  • Work in harmony with our Data engineering team to ensure the solutions delivered meet with their standards and techniques.
  • Be comfortable working with multiple areas of the business within a Data Mesh framework to understand their capabilities and how we can supplement enterprise data provision harvesting data and information from other self service dashboards/reports.
  • A good understanding of Dimensional modelling techniques and be comfortable with extending out dimensional models from within the analytical engineering environment.
  • Supporting adoption of generative AI tools and techniques and leading platform innovation with Snowflake and Microsoft.

Skills we would love you to have

  • Experience with Snowflake (SQL scripting DDL and DML task orchestration integration management)
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Dev Ops (ETL orchestration Git integration CI/CD) REQUIRED Experience with Python
  • Experience working in an Agile environment utilising methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban/BDD/TDD.
  • Enthusiasm for accuracy with a proven track record of solving complex data problems
  • Experience with Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps
  • Experience working with insurance data
