McFall Recruitment Limited are working in partnership with a leading edge Legal business looking for an AI Data Scientist to join their team and play a key role in shaping how we design, deploy, and deliver AI-driven solutions that transform the way legal services are delivered.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical expertise to real-world challenges — from analysing complex legal text to building next-generation AI solutions on Microsoft Azure and M365.

What you’ll be doing

AI Solution Development – Design, build, and deploy AI capabilities using Azure services, MS AI Foundry, PowerPlatform, and Copilot Studio.

Data Analytics – Analyse unstructured legal content (regulations, agreements, knowledge assets) to extract insights and support decision-making.

Model & LLM Improvement – Develop Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, fine-tune models, and enhance performance with domain-specific data.

Collaboration – Work with stakeholders, service designers, and product managers to translate business needs into AI outcomes.

Research & Innovation – Stay ahead of AI trends, bringing fresh ideas into our roadmap and strategy.

What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions (ideally with Microsoft ecosystem tools).
  • Strong skills in analysing unstructured text and applying NLP/LLM techniques.
  • Experience fine-tuning models, working with RAG approaches, or similar.
  • A collaborative mindset, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and drive to explore new AI methods and apply them in a commercial environment.
