We are looking for aGlobal Account and Operations Directorto join and lead a team supporting one of our financial investment clients. You will have expertise in Strategic Account management and development of a client dedicated account alongside event delivery knowledge and expertise in delivery across a multitude of event formats and client industry sectors globally. You will thrive on client retention and client adoption and engagement. You will be responsible to drive growth and achievement of client ROI goals. You thrive on delivering, collaborating across teams / departments, supporting and mentoring team members in order to exceed your clients’ expectations. As a Global Account and Operations Director, you will:

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team – including line management of team managers
  • Develop business objectives and strategic plans for client meeting programme
  • Drive strategy and optimisation initiatives in partnership with the client
  • Drive programme compliance by booker engagement activities
  • Resource to implement a specific process change or added service
  • Support Standard Operating Procedure Development and Redesign
  • Work in partnership across the business in supporting new business RFP’s, Pitches, Presentations, Operation plans.
  • Ownership and day to day responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of event projects assigned to your teams ensuring all internal / external KPI’s and SLAs are achieved
  • As part of the operations leadership team, you will collaborate with peers in resource planning including project allocation, training and development of the wider team
  • Support as required in recruitment for new team members
  • Ensure seamless service delivery and quality across multiple operational centres
  • Implementing and managing client accounts
  • Experience in SMMP in the UK, EMEA and Americas
  • Proven experience in Operations, account and client management
  • Proven experience in meeting and event programme management
  • Communication – listening, written and verbal - able to interpret our client’s objectives to be delivered into all aspects of their event, help translate this to across the team
  • Previous mentoring and line management experience
  • Ability to instil confidence in your clients that we are experts in our field
  • Proven end to end UK and overseas event delivery experience including large scale / complex in-person and hybrid for a variety of client industry sectors
  • Proven meeting technology and delegate registration knowledge and expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications
  • Ability to react, think on your feet, offer solutions, work on multiple priorities / timelines at once
  • Ability to travel in the UK and Overseas

You should know:

  • Role isHybrid based– you will be required to go to the client offices in the city of London 2 days per week
  • You must have the ability to travel within the UK and Overseas, this may include weekends
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
