Your new company

A leading digital transformation organisation is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support the design and delivery of complex digital solutions across large-scale enterprise environments. You will play a key role in shaping client requirements, defining solution architectures and aligning business needs with innovative technology solutions.

Your new role

As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with delivery, engineering and business stakeholders to define, design and implement scalable, secure and commercially viable solutions. You will take end-to-end responsibility for architecture design across complex systems and help drive digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Analyse business requirements and translate them into solution architectures.

Lead the design of complex systems and enterprise-level solutions.

Shape innovative and competitive technical solutions aligned to business objectives.

Define architectural strategy, standards and implementation approaches.

Provide technical leadership across solution design and delivery teams.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams covering cloud, AI, integration, application development, testing and digital transformation initiatives.

Ensure architecture governance, design quality and adherence to best practice.

Support the development of new architectural approaches and mentor colleagues within the wider architecture community.

Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.What you'll need to succeed

Essential skills and experience

Active SC Clearance.

Experience working as a Systems Architect or Solutions Architect.

Minimum 1 year of experience in an Architect position (or equivalent).

Over 5 years' experience as an IT professional.

TOGAF or BCS ISEB Architecture certification.

Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.

Experience translating business and feature requirements into technical specifications.

Experience designing enterprise-scale technology solutions.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
