About us

PhysicsX is a deep-tech company with roots in numerical physics and Formula One, dedicated to accelerating hardware innovation at the speed of software. We are building an AI-driven simulation software stack for engineering and manufacturing across advanced industries. By enabling high-fidelity, multi-physics simulation through AI inference across the entire engineering lifecycle, PhysicsX unlocks new levels of optimization and automation in design, manufacturing, and operations — empowering engineers to push the boundaries of possibility. Our customers include leading innovators in Aerospace & Defense, Materials, Energy, Semiconductors, and Automotive.

Who We’re Looking For

As a Senior Simulation Engineer – Electromagnetic Specialist in Delivery, you are a problem solver and a builder who is passionate about creating practical solutions that enable customers to make better engineering decisions. You are someone who can grasp and apply advanced engineering concepts across multiple industries, and you excel at working directly with customers (and often side-by-side with them on-site) to build models that are integrated into AI-tools that are both useful and used.

You bring strong expertise in electromagnetic modeling and analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industry-standard simulation tools and a strong foundation in electromagnetic theory applied to real-world applications. Coding skills in Python and/or Java, or the ability to quickly learn programming languages, is an advantage.

With at least 3-5 years of industry experience (post Bachelors, Masters or PhD) in a commercial, non-research environment, you’re ready to hit the ground running. You’re comfortable setting up simulations independently, interpreting results with depth, and making informed decisions based on solid engineering judgement.

This Role

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and customers to understand and define the engineering and physics challenges we are solving. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering high-fidelity simulations by, demonstrating skills in one or more of the following areas:

  1. Low Frequency Electromagnetics
  • Magnetostatic and electrostatic simulations
  • Motors, transformers, actuators, and inductive components
  • Eddy current and EMI analysis

  1. High Frequency Electromagnetics
  • RF/microwave components, antennas, and radar/RCS modeling
  • S-parameter and EMC analysis
  • Signal integrity and power integrity modeling

  1. Optics/Photonics
  • Optical system design, imaging, and ray-tracing analysis
  • Integrated photonics, waveguides, and photonic circuit modeling
  • Beam propagation, laser optics, and optical component optimization

Additional Skills and Attributes

Programming & Automation:

  • Advanced Python and/or MATLAB coding skills desired for simulation automation and post-processing

Performance & Problem-Solving:

  • Identify and implement improvements based on simulation results to enhance system performance
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions quickly
  • Demonstrate the ability to scope and effectively deliver projects

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teams and customers
  • For more experienced candidates: passion for and track record of managing, mentoring, and coaching junior colleagues

As the role evolves, there are exciting opportunities for growth as an individual contributor or a technical lead, especially if you’re driven to take ownership of more complex projects and lead the direction of future solutions.

Please note, this role is based in Sinapore, working 2-3 days per week in our new office.

Our delivery teams drive innovation to turn AI models into practical solutions - read our blog to learn more about how you’ll contribute to this exciting journey!

We value diversity and are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of sex, race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, disability, age, sexual orientation or gender identity. We strongly encourage individuals from groups traditionally underrepresented in tech to apply. Where to Advertise Machine Learning Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise machine learning jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards and communities that reach ML, MLOps and deep learning engineering talent. The candidate pool is small, highly specialised and in demand across AI labs, financial services, healthcare, autonomous systems and consumer technology simultaneously. Machine learning engineers and researchers move between roles through professional networks, conference communities and specialist platforms — not general job boards where ML roles compete with unrelated software engineering positions for the same audience. This guide, published by MachineLearningJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise machine learning roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.

Machine Learning Jobs UK 2026: What to Expect Over the Next 3 Years

Machine Learning Jobs UK 2026: roles, salaries and the MLOps, LLM and generative AI hiring trends shaping UK ML careers over the next three years. Machine learning has undergone a transformation that few technology disciplines can match. In the space of three years it has moved from a specialism sitting at the edges of most organisations' technology strategies to a capability that sits at the centre of them. The tools have changed, the expectations have shifted, and the range of industries treating machine learning as a core business function — rather than an experimental one — has expanded dramatically. For job seekers, this creates both opportunity and complexity in roughly equal measure. The machine learning jobs market of 2026 is significantly larger than it was three years ago, but it is also significantly more demanding. Employers have developed more sophisticated expectations, the technical bar for specialist roles has risen, and the landscape of tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns that practitioners are expected to know has broadened considerably. The candidates who will thrive over the next three years are those who understand where the discipline is heading — which specialisms are attracting the most investment, which technologies are reshaping what machine learning engineers and researchers are expected to build, and how the definition of a machine learning career is evolving beyond the model-building core toward a much wider range of roles across the full ML lifecycle. This article breaks down what the UK machine learning jobs market is likely to look like through to 2028 — covering the titles emerging right now, the technologies driving employer demand, the skills that will matter most, and how to position your career ahead of the curve.
