We are now looking to help them find a talented Senior Data Engineer work with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and optimize data solutions using various technologies, contributing to the creation of enterprise-grade data services. A key part of this role will involve building and enhancing data systems, optimizing ETL processes, and ensuring smooth data integration within a cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead data enhancements and implement plans to utilize existing tools and team skills effectively.
  • Collaborate with Data Management and Business Intelligence teams to create accessible, efficient data solutions.
  • Develop data pipelines and manage data engineering artefacts.
  • Design and implement solutions for internal and external data movement.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and user requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable and future-proof data services.
  • Support the organization's data strategy, aligning with business goals.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, Python, and other data engineering tools.
  • Experience with designing, coding, testing, and documenting programs/scripts.
  • Strong background in data cleansing, preparation, and formatting.
  • Familiar with designing scalable and future-proof data solutions.
  • Experience in delivering technical solutions for large projects.
  • Familiar with Agile delivery models (Scrum, DevOps).
  • Experienced with Azure DevOps.
