About the role

We are seeking a post-doctoral research fellow experienced in analysing large genomics and/or neuroscience datasets related to mental health. The position involves analyzing clinical research datasets focusing on genomics and pharmacogenomics in severe mental disorders, studying biomarkers from EEG or cognitive tests to investigate psychosis risk and genetic influences on medication response.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting data analysis in genetics, pharmacogenetics, bioinformatics, genetic epidemiology, neurophysiology, cognition, or related fields.
• Collaborating with research teams on project goals.

Appointment details:

• Grade 7 or 8 on the research staff pay scale, ranging from £45,000 to £64,000 including London Allowance.
• Available from 20th August, funded initially for 1 year with potential renewal.
• Employment is subject to a DBS check.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience analyzing large genomics or neuroscience datasets.
• Background in genetics, neurophysiology, bioinformatics, or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and relevant research experience.
