Unique opportunity to join this hugely successful prop trading firm as they scale significantly, building out a brand-new central trading team.

With major investment in GPUs and compute infrastructure, the aim is to build from scratch a best-in-class platform, redefining how alpha is generated. To do this, they're looking for exceptional Quant Researchers and Engineers to sit within a pod-like structure - but with much more shared capital, strategic influence and collaboration across a centralised book.

Alongside the infrastructure investment, what makes this opportunity especially interesting is the level of commitment behind it:
  • Greenfield environment with the opportunity to build the research stack from scratch
  • Strong autonomy and ability to shape direction from an early stage
  • Deep learning-first philosophy across research and modelling

This is a non-traditional, non-linear quant setup, where the focus is heavily towards:
  • Neural networks
  • Transformers
  • LLM-driven research
  • Multi-modal modelling
  • Modern NLP and agentic/autonomous research systems
  • LLM fine-tuning, including regression and forecasting applications

Strong preference for the following experience:
  • Alpha generators from top-tier firms
  • Strong background in:
    • NLP applied to markets
    • Modern deep learning

They are particularly interested in:
  • People who think beyond traditional quant frameworks
  • Experience at the frontier of ML research - whether from industry, academia or highly independent/self-directed work

Benefits
  • Competitive salary and discretionary bonuses
  • Generous benefits package including reimbursement for health & wellness expenses, donation matching program, significant paid vacation allowance

Whilst we carefully review all applications, to all jobs, due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not possible to respond to those who have not been successful.

Where to Advertise Machine Learning Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise machine learning jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards and communities that reach ML, MLOps and deep learning engineering talent. The candidate pool is small, highly specialised and in demand across AI labs, financial services, healthcare, autonomous systems and consumer technology simultaneously. Machine learning engineers and researchers move between roles through professional networks, conference communities and specialist platforms — not general job boards where ML roles compete with unrelated software engineering positions for the same audience. This guide, published by MachineLearningJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise machine learning roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.
