FPGA Engineer

FPGA Engineer – Canterbury – Semi remote - £60k - £75k

Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for a world renowned Electronics Manufacturer based in Canterbury now seeking an FPGA Engineer to help develop a range of products the company is looking to bring to the market.

The company are expanding due to recent successes and are now seeking an FPGA Engineer ideally with good experience working on distributed systems technologies such as DDR and PCIe.

This is an FPGA role within a well established team and you will get the chance to influence the final design of their products as well as excellent scope to progress within the business. Due to the nature of the work, the role will be most onsite. The company are very interested in candidates with a Video or Graphics background. But similar industries can be considered.

Key Skills

• Degree in Embedded systems, Electronics design or similar
  
  
• 5+ years commercial experience in FPGA Design (preferably using Xilinx)
  
  
• Good experience using VHDL
  
  
• Experience working with Embedded C is advantageous but not essential
  
  
• Previous experience working on DDR based products is highly desirable.
