We’re looking for a Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our team in, Kings Hill, UK.

The Supply Chain Business Data sits at the heart of our Global Supply Chain organisation, acting as the analytical engine that turns data into insight and insight into action. Partnering with both global process owners and local market-unit teams, the role provides end-to-end visibility of demand, supply, inventory and logistics performance, enabling fact-based decisions that optimise service, cost and cash. In the near term the analyst will rely heavily on advanced Excel and Microsoft Power BI dashboards, while actively preparing the business for the deployment of Demand-Driven MRP (DDMRP) and other next-generation supply-chain systems. Success in the position will be measured by the quality of decision support delivered, the robustness of data models maintained, and the measurable improvements in our global supply-chain KPIs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Own and enhance forecasting and inventory models, ensuring robust assumptions and accuracy.
  • Maintain and expand intuitive Power BI dashboards to highlight performance gaps and KPIs.
  • Drive end-to-end planning: analyse demand signals, identify risks, and recommend inventory targets.
  • Provide expert-level Power BI support—train users, document needs, and enable data self-service.
  • Deliver scenario modelling and “what-if” simulations for NPI, promotions, and network changes.
  • Champion continuous improvement with root-cause analysis and the SUPA approach (Standardised, User-friendly, Paperless, Automated).
  • Support digital transformation and DDMRP readiness—map data flows, test systems, and guide transitions.
  • Collaborate across global, regional, and local teams to align analytics with strategic priorities.
  • Contribute to S&OP forums and respond to ad-hoc requests with impactful, data-driven insights.
  • Explore emerging tech like AI forecasting and digital twins to future-proof supply chain operations.

Requirements

Experience we look for:

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related STEM field, with experience in supply chain, demand planning, or data analysis in FMCG/CPG environments.
  • Skilled in Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA), Power BI (DAX, ETL pipelines, dashboards), and SQL; proven ability to build and maintain large-scale forecasting and inventory optimization models.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP, APS, and BI system implementations; confident working with ERP data from platforms like SAP and Oracle.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain concepts including safety stock, demand variability, capacity constraints, and network flows; able to translate complex analysis into actionable business insights.
  • Inquisitive, detail-oriented self-starter with excellent communication skills; experienced in managing stakeholders under pressure and influencing across cultures and time zones.

Desirable

  • Post-graduate qualification (e.g., MSc Logistics & Supply Chain, MBA).
  • Exposure to DDMRP or S&OP a distinct advantage.
  • Familiarity with Python or R for statistical modelling is preferable.

Benefits

What can Westfalia Fruit offer you?

  • Hybrid working.
  • 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
  • State of the art office with fresh fruit, bean-to-cup coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice & avocado ice-cream.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Company pension scheme with life insurance cover.
  • Employee Assistance Plan with Medicash.
  • Christmas hampers & a Christmas party.
  • Sausage roll Thursday & pizza lunch days.

Machine Learning Jobs Skills Radar 2026: Emerging Tools, Frameworks & Platforms to Learn Now

Machine learning is no longer confined to academic research—it's embedded in how UK companies detect fraud, recommend content, automate processes & forecast risk. But with model complexity rising and LLMs transforming workflows, employers are demanding new skills from machine learning professionals. Welcome to the Machine Learning Jobs Skills Radar 2026—your annual guide to the top languages, frameworks, platforms & tools shaping machine learning roles in the UK. Whether you're an aspiring ML engineer or a mid-career data scientist, this radar shows what to learn now to stay job-ready in 2026.

How to Find Hidden Machine Learning Jobs in the UK Using Professional Bodies like BCS, Turing Society & More

Machine learning (ML) continues to transform sectors across the UK—from fintech and retail to healthtech and autonomous systems. But while the demand for ML engineers, researchers, and applied scientists is growing, many of the best opportunities are never posted on traditional job boards. So, where do you find them? The answer lies in professional bodies, academic-industry networks, and tight-knit ML communities. In this guide, we’ll show you how to uncover hidden machine learning jobs in the UK by engaging with groups like the BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT), Turing Society, Alan Turing Institute, and others. We’ll explore how to use member directories, CPD events, SIGs (Special Interest Groups), and community projects to build connections, gain early access to job leads, and raise your professional profile in the ML ecosystem.

How to Get a Better Machine Learning Job After a Lay-Off or Redundancy

Redundancy in machine learning can feel especially frustrating when your role was technically advanced, strategically important, or AI-facing. But the UK still has strong demand for machine learning professionals across fintech, healthtech, retail, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, and generative AI. Whether you're a research-oriented ML engineer, production-focused MLOps developer, or applied scientist, this guide is designed to help you bounce back from redundancy and find a better opportunity that suits your goals.
