System & Data Analyst 
 
We are a successful National organisation providing logistics solutions. Part of one of the UK’s leading supply chain, transport and logistics businesses, truly offering end-to-end solutions, we provide dedicated, same day transport services to local businesses. We specialise in delivering time sensitive shipments from commercial businesses throughout the UK and Europe.  We also have a number of Warehouses, throughout the UK, offering storage, pick/pack and fulfil solutions.

We are seeking a Systems/Data Analyst to work alongside Operations at our distribution centre in Knutsford. This skilled multitasker will have hands on involvement with Systems that control the receiving, handling, storing, picking and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.
 
Responsibilities:

Actively involved in overseeing the receiving, warehousing, distribution and system maintenance operations
Oversee the accurate logging and scanning of incoming parcels and returns
Maintain and update stock intake logs by customer using Excel and WMS tools
Assist with the onboarding of new clients and SKUs into the warehouse system
Work closely with the operations team to ensure stock is correctly located and labelled
Sort returns for customers in a timely fashion
Perform regular stock checks, investigate discrepancies, and assist with cycle counts
Flag and resolve mispicks or data issues in stock or location records
Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
Promote a positive working atmosphere by encouraging good communication between all colleagues, dealing with any issues in a constructive manner.
Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided Requirements and skills:

Expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices
High attention to detail
Solid Excel/ Office skills 
Good IT confidence — able to learn new systems quickly and troubleshoot basic issues
Organised and methodical 
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills  
The role is full time Monday – Friday
37.5 hours per week
Hours 0800 – 1630 (may be subject to change, depending on Business needs)
