Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a cutting-edge engineering consultancy at the heart of innovation in Buckingham, currently expanding across multiple divisions. They’re now looking to bring in a Software Developer to help deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions across exciting high-tech projects.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment alongside top-tier engineers, contributing to a wide range of tech stacks and platforms including C++,C#, Java, TypeScript, and Flutter. The company champions modern software practices and offers a flexible hybrid setup, combining client visits, remote work, and time at their Buckingham HQ.

The role focuses on building high-performance systems using agile methodologies, with a strong emphasis on Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), and secure coding practices.

Key Skills & Experience Needed:

  • Solid experience (3+ years) in software development within a commercial setting

  • Exposure to the following: C++, Java, C#, Node.js, or TypeScript

  • Passion for writing clean, maintainable code using principles like SOLID, CLEAN, and DRY

  • Understanding of secure development practices and infrastructure as code

  • Familiarity with Git, Jira, JUnit, and CI/CD tooling

  • Confident working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Strong documentation habits and a test-first mindset (TDD/BDD)

    What You’ll Get:
