My client are seeking aSenior Data Engineerto join a high-performing squad driving the next evolution of our cloud-based data platform. This is a leadership opportunity within a growing data engineering team where you’ll help design, build, and deliver scalable AWS data solutions while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of AWS data components, including Firehose, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Redshift, and Quicksight.
  • Support junior engineers through technical guidance, mentoring, and task leadership.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects to evolve our MVP data platform toward a full-scale enterprise architecture.
  • Deliver and manage Terraform-coded pipelines, ensuring robust and scalable infrastructure as code.
  • Drive Python and SQL development for complex data engineering tasks, optimizing performance and scalability.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Expertise in AWS core data services and Terraform pipeline delivery.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for cloud-based data engineering.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable cloud data architectures.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead discussions and present ideas clearly.
  • Flexibility and openness to change; able to thrive in a fast-evolving environment.
  • A positive, collaborative leadership style — someone who is technically strong and genuinely easy to work with.

You’ll join a squad of around 10–12 people, passionate about innovation and transformation. We are reinventing our data platform and looking for team players who are flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic about shaping the future with us.
