The Opportunity
We’ve launched a global finance transformation programme to streamline operations, automate processes, and strengthen controls—all while prioritising sustainable development. As part of this initiative, the Group Procurement team is driving a global improvement of procurement operations.
We’re seeking an experienced Procurement Data Analyst to provide vital insights that elevate sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and cost efficiencies. This role will champion data integrity, enhance reporting, and empower cross-functional teams to make smarter, data-informed decisions.
Is This Role Right for You?
As a Procurement Data Analyst, you’ll take ownership of collecting, cleaning, and analysing a wide range of procurement data—including purchase orders, invoices, sustainability metrics (such as net zero), and travel-related information. Your expertise will be pivotal in conducting spend analysis, supplier performance reviews, and ensuring contract compliance.
You’ll be responsible for developing and refining dashboards, KPIs, and regular reports to track key procurement metrics. These insights will directly support category management, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing decisions. You’ll also play a key role in shaping the overall procurement data strategy.
Beyond analytics, this role involves supporting the implementation and optimisation of procurement systems and tools, such as ERP platforms, e-sourcing software, and contract management solutions. Maintaining data accuracy and integrity through audits and cleansing activities will be part of your remit.
You’ll assist in creating and updating supplier databases, scorecards, and evaluation tools, while ensuring alignment across finance, operations, and other key departments. Participation in process improvement initiatives will help boost efficiency, transparency, and compliance throughout procurement activities.
Lastly, you’ll monitor and report on savings initiatives, track contract adherence, and assess supplier risk management—making your insights essential for impactful procurement decision-making.
Responsibilities
Your experience and mindset will enable you to:
Apply 3–5 years’ experience in procurement analytics, supply chain, or a similar data-driven role within Supply Chain, Finance, or Data Analytics.
Use advanced Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to analyse and present procurement insights clearly.
Leverage procurement systems (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, etc.) to support reporting, data integrity, and process improvement.
Provide actionable analysis for sourcing, supplier performance, cost savings, and category strategies.
Drive procurement data strategy and support digital transformation initiatives.
Ensure accuracy and organisation of procurement data, with strong attention to detail and a knack for spotting inefficiencies.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement data with broader business goals.
Communicate findings effectively, translating complex data into clear, strategic insights.
Embrace continuous improvement through innovation and proactive problem-solving.
Knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing, and supplier management.
Familiarity with SQL or other database languages.
