Resource Data Analyst – Technology / HR – Hybrid London - £65K + Bonus & Benefits

Overview:
We are supporting a global financial institution in hiring a Resource Data Analyst to join its Technology function. This role is focused on managing and maintaining accurate people-related data, supporting reporting cycles, and ensuring process compliance across a large and fast-paced environment.

It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and stakeholders to drive efficiency and transparency across a major technology organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate resource data in Workday, validating updates from multiple sources.
Run daily data checks using Excel macros and Power Query.
Deliver regular reports (headcount, contract end dates, workforce changes) via Excel and Power BI.
Liaise with HR, Finance, Procurement, and Tech leads to ensure data accuracy and process alignment.
Lead daily team stand-ups to manage priorities.
Run twice-monthly inductions for new starters in Technology.
Create and update org charts using Visio.
Support reporting for recruitment, JML processes, and Finance cost tracking.
Build strong stakeholder relationships to promote best practices.
Essential Skills & Requirements:

3-5 years experience in a data/reporting-focused role, ideally within Financial Services or a complex enterprise environment
Advanced Excel skills – including macros and Power Query
Proficient in Power BI – able to build, enhance, and publish dashboards
Confident in using Microsoft Visio for creating workflows and org charts
Strong numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Able to work independently, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
Proactive, organised, and structured approach to problem solving
Package:

Basic salary: £65K
