About the role

We are seeking a new Lead Data Analyst to be responsible for data analysis across our Supporting Communities services. This is a rare opportunity for you to operate as a leader within a progressive community of Data Analysts, developing innovative approaches to data analysis that unblock and ensure that Camden is a place that works for everyone.

You will lead an exciting and demanding portfolio of work aiming to improve the data capabilities across all services within our two new directorates, Homes and Communities and Investment, Place and Opportunity.
The work of these directorates is broad, extending to business areas such as Housing, Property Management, Homelessness and Temporary Accommodation, Planning, Recreation, Public Safety, and Environment.
As a Lead Data Analyst in Camden, you will be an accomplished data analysis expert with a body of knowledge and experience of relevant skills, tools, and techniques that you are able to share with others and use to implement and oversee data analysis that effectively supports us in delivering for the people of Camden.

You will be comfortable leading a substantive team of other data analysts, growing talent, ensuring adherence to standards, prioritising existing work and proposing new projects.
You will also be able to serve as a key point of contact for senior leadership, acting as an expert in data analysis and analytics and ensuring that they benefit fully from the work carried out by our Data Analysts.
