The Role: Data Solutions Specialist


Working within their growing Data Team, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the business to define data requirements, then develop and implement effective data solutions. A key focus will be on enhancing our existing suite of data services, evolving their offering from reactive reporting to proactive and predictive insights for our partners.


Key Outcomes for This Role:


Teams across the business are equipped with the data needed for informed decision-making, performance monitoring, and proactive interventions:


  • Utilise internal tools to ensure teams have clear visibility of relevant data.
  • Develop performance models that enable teams to easily identify unexpected performance trends, allowing us to celebrate successes and intervene proactively when needed.
  • Manage and maintain comprehensive cross-platform tracking of our products and services.


The needs of their customers and internal teams are thoroughly understood:


  • Strengthen the vital relationship between the Data Team, client-facing teams, and their customers.
  • Build strong rapport with a wide range of stakeholders through consistent communication and dedicated support.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the data requirements, challenges, and opportunities inherent in their platform offerings.


Clients receive accurate and timely data, insightful analysis, and best practice guidance:

  • Support client-facing teams by overseeing the creation of regular campaign performance reports.
  • Analyze aggregated product data to generate best practice insights for both internal use and client recommendations.
  • Provide ad-hoc and customized analyses and reports for specific clients as needed.

  • Inquisitive and enthusiasticabout data analysis, technology, and business systems, staying current with the latest advancements in these fields.
  • Effective stakeholder managerand an excellent communicator, capable of mediating between business, technology, and product stakeholders.
  • Friendly and confident, comfortable working closely with individuals across various departments with varying levels of data literacy.
  • Ability to work independentlywhile also thriving as an integral part of a larger team.


Experience, Knowledge & Skills:


This position balances analytical rigor with business intelligence. While support is readily available, the most critical prerequisites for this role are strong communication and adaptability, rather than extensive intricate technical knowledge.


  • Excellent analytical and strong reporting skills, with prior experience in planning, managing, and delivering analyses to stakeholders.
  • Understanding of BI/MI reporting tools(e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio).
  • Some familiarity with relational databases(e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or other DBMS).
  • Familiarity with web analytics and behavioral tracking(e.g., Google Analytics, Matomo, Hotjar).
  • Ideally, someexperience with coding(preferably Python or Java) and knowledge of programming best practices.
  • Experience usingversion control(e.g., Git & Mercurial) is beneficial but not required.
