We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Data Analyst, (a background in Data Science would be advantageous) initially for a 12-month contract, to support our client in the Nuclear sector. For this role candidates must be eligible to be UK security cleared to apply, as this role is full-time on site at a nuclear power station, there is no remote working.
 
The successful candidates will work on the delivery analytical reports whilst providing support to other departments.
 
Responsibilities
The Data Analyst would have responsibility for tasks such as: 

Responsible for the provision of analytical reports to management meetings
Preparing Performance Improvement/Training Committee meeting reports to identify learning.
Contributing to the Quarterly Performance Improvement Health Report.
Responsible for supporting the monthly KPI Metric updating process and ensuring that fleet deadlines are complied with.
Supporting the annual KPI setting and Business Planning rounds.
Liaising with the Business Planning peer group to share best practice and to continually improve local and fleet performance
Providing analyst support to other Departments.
Preparing analytical reports from Coaching Database / Task Observation Database.
Updating Accountability metrics.
Collating and trending Key statistics
Maintaining and communicating local Business Plan statistics Key Skills

Data analysis skills (a background in Data Science would be advantageous)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Being a confident communicator when speaking and liaising with the team and stakeholders
Motivated self-starter
General IT skills (Microsoft office suite, particularly MS Excel)
Ability to learn new concepts and software
Team player
General administration duties
Working with KPI’sQualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of HNC in a technical / data orientated discipline. Evidence of strong IT / analysis experience will be sought. This role could be suitable for graduates with a technical background with a passion for data.
 
Additional Information:
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must have a suitable background that will allow them to achieve UK security clearance (please note that this is very difficult to achieve within the timescales for non-UK nationals and you will be subject to a screening process prior to interview to ensure that you meet the security clearance criteria)
